We provide guided wilderness expeditions across various Canadian ecosystems. Services include multi-day hiking, kayaking, wildlife observation, and related outdoor experiences led by certified guides.
All expedition details, including itineraries, locations, duration, and difficulty levels, are provided as accurately as possible but may be subject to modification based on weather conditions, safety considerations, or circumstances beyond our control.
Submitting a reservation request through our website does not guarantee acceptance. We review all requests and confirm bookings based on availability, group composition, and participant suitability for the selected expedition.
A booking becomes binding only when you receive written confirmation from us via email. Confirmation includes specific expedition dates, meeting location, deposit amount, and payment deadline.
Full payment is required 60 days before expedition departure. Bookings made within 60 days of departure require immediate full payment. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposits.
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and include goods and services tax as applicable. Prices cover guided services, permits, camping equipment, and meals as specified in expedition descriptions.
Prices do not include personal equipment, travel to meeting points, travel insurance, alcoholic beverages, personal purchases, or gratuities for guides.
We reserve the right to modify prices for future bookings. Confirmed reservations are honored at the price agreed upon at booking, even if general prices later increase.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. Refund amounts depend on timing:
If we cancel an expedition due to insufficient enrollment, weather conditions, or other circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another expedition. We are not responsible for additional costs you may have incurred such as travel arrangements.
No refunds are provided for voluntary early departure from expeditions or unused portions of services.
Participants must accurately represent their fitness level, medical conditions, and experience when booking. Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in removal from an expedition without refund if we determine you cannot safely participate.
You are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability. We strongly recommend comprehensive coverage.
Participants must follow guide instructions regarding safety protocols, environmental practices, and group coordination. Failure to comply may result in removal from the expedition for safety reasons, without refund.
Wilderness expeditions involve inherent risks including but not limited to physical injury, illness, wildlife encounters, adverse weather, challenging terrain, and remote locations with limited access to medical facilities.
By participating, you acknowledge these risks and assume responsibility for your own safety to the extent permitted by law. While our guides take reasonable precautions to minimize risks, they cannot eliminate all potential hazards inherent in wilderness environments.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injuries, losses, damages, or expenses arising from participation in expeditions, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
We are not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by weather, natural disasters, government actions, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific expedition in question.
Guides may photograph or film expeditions for promotional, educational, or documentary purposes. By participating, you consent to being included in such media and to our use of these images on our website, social media, and marketing materials.
If you prefer not to be photographed, inform guides at the start of the expedition. We will make reasonable efforts to exclude you from media capture, though this cannot be guaranteed in group settings.
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without written permission.
